How to properly plan renovation of our personal flat?

Planning flat renovation is certainly not always a simple and pleasant process. Sometimes it can cause a huge headache whenever we don’t prepare all the necessary things ahead of time. Fortunately, we now have few tips that will help you to save a lot of time and make everything smooth sailing.
Regardless how big renovation we’re going to make – if it is just about painting walls in the family area or redesigning the whole bathroom – we must meticulously prepare and plan every single stage of it.

The very first thing, we need to know exactly what’s the desired outcome and what we want to achieve as a result of planned renovation. This will help us to make a work plan – set order of actions that need to be taken (if we would you like to paint walls first or change floorboards). Additionally, we have to know (more or less) how long time particular stage will take.

We strongly suggest to produce a sketch where we are able to present wanted renovation outcome. IT’s always a useful thing to place it on paper – we could show it to our interior designer who are able to adjust it and then make the final blueprint. Moreover, it can help you a lot when we will consult with renovation team. Thanks to that we will avoid situations of misunderstandings that are usually pain in the neck. Everything must be clearly said – and a fantastic drawing (a straightforward one, we’re not a famous painter, are we?) is going to do the job.

Talking about specialists – if you plan to start renovation on June for example, start searching a good renovation team and all the materials which will be needed much earlier. Oftentimes good specialists have scheduled the whole calendar and it may be hard to hire them.
